This is my first album review! YAY! I decided to review the first album of Michael Jackson's death. MICHAEL.
I'll review each track and say what I think. At the end, I'll say basically what I thought of the album and if you should buy it or not.
1 Hold My Hand (Duet with Akon) - 4/10
I thought this song was good when it leaked with only MJ. But Web Sherrif (Sorry for spelling) took that off YouTube which made me mad. Akon just steals the show and this song should be an Akon song not a MJ song. MJ only got like 30 seconds of the song and Akon is the rest. The song is good it just needs more MJ and I'm happy.
2 Hollywood Tonight - 9/10
This song is good and actually MJ! On Wikipeda under Michael Jackson Unreleased it's on there. That makes me happy that it's him! The song has a good beat and is catchy. This is one of the Must Listens!
3 Keep Your Head Up - 6/10
This song isn't on the Wikipedia list which makes me question if it's him. It's a good song but makes me wonder if it's him.
4 (I Like) The Way You Love Me - 3/10
This song was already released on the Ultimate Collection pack! All they did was add (I Like) and call it a new unheard song. The song is really bad in my opinion.
5 Monster (feat 50 Cent) - 7/10
Once again this song isn't on the Wikipedia list. I mean really would MJ do a song with 50 Cent? The song is catchy and talks about drinking and stalking. DRINKING & STALKING?!?! That doesn't seem like a MJ theme. Sony should really think about what they write.
6 Best of Joy - 3/10
This isn't on Wikipedia's list! It's also too slow I think. Wow already 3 non MJ songs!
7 Breaking News - 6/10
This song isn't on Wikipedia's list. The song is catchy though. Also if you listen closely you hear MJ or the MJ Impersanator say Bitch you in the rain. At least that's what I heard in the song. Once again themes of stalking and a bad word. Sony write better music. Welcome to #4 of non MJ songs on a MJ album!
8 (I Can't Make It) Another Day (feat Lenny Kravitz) - 9/10
This is MJ! Finally after 3 non MJ songs we have MJ! This song is extremely catchy and has a good beat!
9 Behind the Mask - 4/10
This may be MJ but I just don't like this song. I don't like it because it's too slow. We need MJ with cool beats!
10 Much Too Soon - 4/10
This is the last song of Michael. It's acoustic and I don't like acoustic songs. I want cool beats. This is MJ.
Well here's the overall rating from how I rated the songs: 55/100. But if I don't go by the songs I would give the album a 88/100. It just needs more songs and more MJ! Overall I hate that they put fake songs on here.
If you're a MJ fan and want to hear the 6 MJ songs just buy it online. If you don't care if they're fake or not go ahead buy the entire album online or CD format. The booklet for the CD will probably be cool.
So if you're a MJ fan BUY THIS ALBUM MP3 OR CD JUST BUY IT!
